South West
Illustrators are a group of professional illustrators based in the South West
of England, mainly around Bath and Bristol.
Formed back in the 1980s, we are made up of a diverse group of
illustrators and designers working in many areas of illustration.
We hold
informal meetings at least four times a year, to share new work, discuss
illustration and offer advice and support to each other. We also have occasional visits to book fairs or
exhibitions. We are always pleased to welcome new professional illustrators to
our meetings!
Over the past few years, South West Illustrators have organised several group exhibitions and individually, some members regularly exhibit in galleries and on art trails.
This Autumn we look forward to the opening of ‘Picture Tree’, an exciting collection of work showcasing a wide range of styles, from picture book illustrations to stamp designs and printmaking to prop and model making.
