Year of the Bus sculpture trails

The Year of the Bus sculpture trails organised by Wild in Art, Transport for London and the London Transport Museum to celebrate 60 years of the Routemaster bus, have entertained thousands of 'bus spotters' in the capital over the winter months.

There are a few days left to enjoy following the 4 trails around different parts of London, before they leave the streets on 11th January . All 60 will then be on display together at the Queen Elizabeth Park on the 24th / 25th January in a weekend of fun activities.

The sculptures will be auctioned on 3rd February, with proceeds supporting the charities Kids Aid, Transaid and the London Transport Museum. Bidding has started online at

SWillustrator Jane Veveris Callan created the 'brollybus' design for the River Trail, which is situated opposite Tate Modern by the Millennium Bridge on the Southbank. It was inspired by the iconic London Transport posters of the past that feature umbrellas.
